The feast awaits...a homemade caterpiller cake (since Spencer LOVES the Baby Einstein videos these days) and hotdogs, baked beans, steak, guacamole and salsa, salmon, and shrimp for dinner. One word - YUMMY!
Fun with a monkey pinata - the kids couldn't wait to bust him open! Gabriella helped Spencer hit the monkey (I apologize for the angle of the video...just tilt your head to the left to get a good view).
Now for the cake...
Spencer was a bit enthusiastic about this new food we offered him.
Hmmm. Not much caterpiller left...hopefully our guests enjoyed the cake as much as Spencer.
Our friends and family were very kind to bring some fun things for Spencer.We feel so lucky to have such a great support system !!

Helping mommy pack for the trip to Utah. Should have named him Curious George!
Spencer has graduated from his bath seat and now can't get enough of bath time. He loves to make big splashes when crawling in the tub. He also seems fascinated by the water that pours of the spout. He always tries to catch it with his fingers.
Never too early to get that boy to earn his keep, eh? Spencer was more than happy to help me weed. When he started eating the weeds, I decided it was time to take him in for some real dinner.
Spencer simply adores Scott Jr. and Gabriella. He LOVES playing with them.
I have Spencer his first haircut about one week before my sister's wedding. It ended up being a bit shorter than I wanted (ask Scott how sad I was to see Spencer's baby locks go!), but he definitely looks like a big boy now.
